Cabin Museum
The Cabin Museum with its unique collection of antiques and memorabilia, was originally located between Turkey and Magnolia. It was built in the late 1700s by Austin Beasley, and later preserved by local educator and historian, the late Claude Moore. For many years it was maintained as a private museum at Mr. Moore's residence in Turkey, NC. Some of the artifacts on display include cast iron cooking utensils, Civil War-era photographs, books, spinning wheels, and other household items, primarily from the 19th century.
